Morgan J Freeman & Mischa Barton Wrap Late in ICE & Snow filming "Homecoming"

Pittsburgh in Mid-December can be the pitts! Snow, Ice, Ice-Rain and then Rain does not make for a nice warm homecoming. The crew has been wrapping after midnight most nights in frostbite weather as they move closer to a Christmas holiday break in shooting. Most will head for warm weather to thaw out!

Actress to play stalker girlfriend in indie thriller

Mischa Barton will star in the indie stalker thriller "Homecoming."

Morgan J. Freeman ("Hurricane," "Dawson's Creek") will direct the film, which will also star Matt Long, Jessica Stroup and Michael Landes.

Story centers on a former small-town golden boy and his new girlfriend who visit his hometown. and discovers his high school sweetheart (Barton) has developed an unhealthy obsession with him.

Frank Hannah ("The Cooler") wrote the screenplay. Katie Fetting and Jake Goldberger penned an earlier draft.

Jim Young and Bill Papariella of Animus Films will produce alongside Bingo Gubelmann and Austin Stark of Paper Street Films. The Schiff Co.'s Jack Heller is also a producer. Nuala Barton, Benji Kohn, Chris Papavasiliou and Richard Bard will exec produce.

Freeman's film "Just Like the Son" is currently making the festival rounds.
